What is DZ like at Illinois? I am thinking about transferring for my junior year and was just curious.

They get shat on a lot here but I'm in an "upper" fraternity and we do some fun stuff with them.

in terms of rank they are bottom. not that it matters though! loved them during rush, didnt love the two year live in requirement.... but im not sure if that applies to tranfers

the live in requirement is actually one year just like most other sororities lol

I can confirm that during rush it said 2 years in their info sheets. Biiiig part of the reason I dropped them.

They're actually a great group of girls, from what I know. I liked them a lot during rush. They seemed genuine and like they actually care about their new members. From the girls I met there was nobody that I hated so that's a plus. I recommend reaching out!

I had a friend who literally got scammed into accepting her bid to DZ during rush, honestly didn’t even know who they were until halfway through first semester. That’s the social outlook on them. However, if you rush and you decide you like them and their personalities then you should join DZ, joining a house because of social standing alone, without putting any thought into the actual members of it will make your college years miserable.
