If I wanted to transfer to Illinois but my sorority isn’t here on campus, can I drop my sorority and then rush again if I came to Illinois.

You really can. It is not advertised, and discouraged, but if you have a good reason you should not have a problem.

You can't. We had a girl pledge who tried to do that, and our Nationals found out somehow called our adviser. She got kicked out of ours, don't know if she got in trouble or kicked out of the first sorority. Once you initiate, you're stuck, no matter what
