rushing as a junior?

What's the actual deal with rushing as a junior- the PHC says there's no disadvantage but most people seem to discourage it..

I actually rushed as a junior (transfer student) and I chose not to join a house in the end, but I'm still really glad I went through it! It's an exhausting process but it's definitely worth going through just to see if it's something you're truly interested in or not.
