sophomore transfer guy rushing

So I'm from Washington state, which is not exactly a feeder state fo Illinois lol, but ya know, I decided to do my own thing and so I'm enrolling in the spring. I'm pumped, but I'm a little worried about meeting people and so I want to go greek. Anyway, is it harder for sophmores to rush? As long as Im not a complete tool and don't spend all my waking hours like idk, talking about shotgunning natty in my oldrow tank should I be okay?

You'll be fine, people at UofI are mostly from Illinois, but there are people from all over. No one really cares where you come from, as long as you are cool and friendly. Just be outgoing, show interest in the guys and their fraternities, and you will do just fine. Kudos for doing your own thing and expanding your boundaries, btw.
