I heard they were getting 3 new senior houses too

Not there yet but has potential to be a top house in 2 years

the quality of most of the guys in this house, they are very likable and entertaining and fun. the people in this house are honestly some of my favorite on campus, so I really do think they are on the rise. Their house is also getting renovated this next year

We do a lot of things with Beta, and it seems like their classes took weird leaps: weird 17 founders (that's honestly to be expected), really good 18s, kinda weird 19s, and then a really good 20s class. If they could establish some consistency they would be even be way better than they've already become, but unfortunately they haven't. No block, to AGD block, to XO block (very impressive in only 3 years), but back "down" to ADPi. To be fair, there are a lot of people saying they got screwed out of Kappa block this year, but whats done is done - I would look to see how they do in the 2 years after their house has been renovated to know whether they really have the chance to be a top house again...

Sorry but ADPI and XO are not so far apart and both very good solid houses so I would not act like they had to stoop down to block with them. Look at Phi Delt and Pi Phi and even in that case its not like Phi Delt is getting screwed but much of a differential than beta and ADPI. There are only so many sororities to go around. So be kind We are all greek together.

Everything above is a good discussion. But to answer the question of why they are disliked:

They have done a good job of recolonizing, but instead of just enjoying that they are acting like they are TOP HAUS (at least some of the guys are anyway). So people are annoyed because that is both (a) arrogant, and (b) inaccurate.

Agree we are all Greek together - but try to be cool about it, ok?

Beta just needs probably one more good class to take that next step along with Phi Psi. Id put them on par with an Acacia or SAE in 1-2 years.

This was posted by a beta and half the comments "justifying" beta is most likely a beta. Beta you will never be on par with Sigma Chi or Acacia. You're not horrible but definitely need a lot of work. Your house is filled with awkward guys who have no pull and those who think have pull just pull in the average looking plain Jane. Need lots of work buds, keep trying.
