i just learned i'm a legacy?

It's half way through bid week and I realize that the sorority my dad always said my grandma was in doesn't even exist. Turns out I'm a legacy of a sorority here when all this time I told everyone my grandma's sorority wasn't at this school, when it apparently is. And it was a sorority that I didn't get intuited back to. What the hell do I do????

being a legacy doesn't mean you're automatically in.

What house was it for? You could contact their nationals if you want.

being a legacy would mean they would invite you back to first invite. but then after that they can drop you. and since they dropped you anyways, its safe to say it doesn't matter

If you liked them, have your mom call nationals and see if they can pick you up for a party later on.

Once lists are made, there's nothing that can be done anyway, so unfortunately you're just out of luck in this situation.

Make the phone call. What's the harm? Especially first round, there are hundreds and hundreds of girls, it's not like they could have formed a well thought out opinion.

But, do this only if YOU really liked the house, don't do it just because it's a name brand.

Do not call, it's over for that house. They dropped you already so they don't see you as a fit. Don't go begging for them...
Move on to houses that do,want you back.
