Unless you already know someone at a top tier frat, your chances of them getting to know you well enough to pledge is slim to none........

I encourage you to rush all of the middle tiers (many of which are as good, or better, than the "so-called" top tiers). Seek out the guys you find interesting & engaging. Your frat experience will be a better one if you focus on who your potentially life-long best buds could be, instead of chasing that elusive "top-tier" moniker.

Once you graduate, and even among most while in school, the "top-tier" moniker is meaningless.......In contrast, the brotherhood you experience among many of the middle tier, smaller houses is a priceless both now and for the rest of your life.......

Some of the sleeper middle tiered houses include Alpha Sigs, Lambda Chi, Sigma Nu, Psi U & Delta Chi........others exist as well.........
