letters of rec

you can send them in if you want but this isn't a university where houses put a lot of worth into them. just go into rush and do your best to have good convos and connect with the girls. your personality will say a lot more about your added value to a house than a recommendation! good luck :)

It really doesnt do anything. the houses dont really care. I rushed twice and had recs for the same houses both times and never got called back from them. Just do ur thing try to have nice convos and ull find ur place

you do not need letters of recommendation, but if you have one the sorority will know who you are walking in and will want you more. in typical sororities on campus, you will most likely make it to the second round of recruitment at that house if you have a letter of rec unless your gpa doesn't' make the cut off or another unforseen circumstance. so if you know someone in that house (older or current member of the sorority) a letter of rec is a great idea
