Why is “low top” not just called “mid”?

I always see this tier:

Sig Ep, Acacia, Phi Psi, TKE, maybe Sig Pi

…labeled as low top but what exactly makes them top imo there’s 5 top frats here and the rest are just mid. Sorry to their egos lol

I feel like sig ep and acacia are up there with the tops but like just not as top as dchi if that makes sense…. tke can maybe be thrown in that mix too
