Not getting a bid

I know its been a month since rush but still cannot get over the fact i didnt get a bid. I’m scared that i wont get a bid when i rush again in the fall, and i feel like not being in a fraternity would make my experience here so much worse. Dont really know what i can do better. Know there are lots of others in the same boat.

First step: lower your expectations and ego

It’s not hard to get a bid if you actually rush at places you belong and don’t just shoot for the top 10ish places or so. And don’t rush for status if you are concerned about getting a bid.

Same here man. Heard fall rush is a lot more chill though. Just work on yourself I guess and yeah it sucks ngl

I didn’t get a bid in a spring. Didn’t even rush the house that I’m in now. Rushed in the fall and ended up in the best house I could ask for. Rush sucks that’s just how it is. Some kids rush 3 times and still end up in a good house. Try making friends with kids that are pledging right now. Goes a long way knowing kids
