Can a first semester junior rush?

Curious what happens to kids coming from satellite campuses. Ik they can rush but what are the odds any frat will take them

A fall junior transfer rushed with me and joined the same house as me, but he knew all of the brothers beforehand from a spring break trip, so depends on connections most likely

As it's been said in all previous discussion posts the higher the year you are the harder your chances are. I'd recommend rushing MANY places to keep your options open. If you try out a lot of houses that aren't just top and upper middle tier you shouldn't have a problem.
