How are the business frats here overall? Considering rushing next semester could someone give info on them?

Go to the mixer that they host. Each is different and gives a different feel professionally. Technically, they are not Greek orgs, they only have letters. From my experience there were 5, and most of the time you had to suicide rush really, as all events really happened the same time.

Bids are based nationally, as a rubric. If they all like you, it hardly matters, as your interview and resume/GPA... are going to be what actually gets you a bid by them

The second paragraph here is wrong. It is completely based on both whether they like you and GPA/resume, however it tends to lean heavier toward whether they like you.

I was in a rush that had the thon kid as a rush, knew everyone and wanted him in, but they said it all depended on our interviews resume gpa and other things, not just liking.

Might depend on which BF

There are 5 of them. They are focused on professional development but also have a lot of social stuff. The recruitment process is competitive. You should attend the mixer to get a feel for each group and then attend their follow up events. The "hazing" is redoing your resume/LinkedIN/interviews and is pretty time consuming. But, you will be polished and ready for interviews by the time you get through and have a close group of friends.

My goal is to join one next semester when I am more established as a student. Also, joining a fraternity (pledging this semester).

There are many people that are in both. It is a time commitment but both offer different benefits. Good luck!
