You do realize that ANYONE can go to the school website and file an anonymous report. For all anyone knows it could of been a frat who didn’t want aepi to get good rushes. And listen, I’m not in Aepi, but we need to hear all the facts before we just claim they are guilty. The news reports literally say it was an anonymous third party who reported it. It literally could of been overhearing something and taking it the wrong way.

Also if your in another frat and cheering about this, I wouldn’t be. It’s so easy to to be instantly pinged as guilty these days.

The university sends out these alerts whenever something like this happens, and they must include details. Even if it were an allegation and not true, they’re still going to face repercussions unless it’s proven they didn’t do it.

Supposedly the victims friend was told and reported it so her friend could be anonymous. I personally think that the details should have been left out u til the university completed a thorough investigation into the matter, however right before rush that is hard to do.

Since rush is upon us, the university really had no choice but to suspend them for now. Yeah it seems like an allegation that may or may not be true but still.
