Rush at least 4 houses everyday. Just do it. You won't be a geed.
Make an effort to talk to everyone (other rushes too) during zones.
Remember you will be forced to choose between houses near end.

When you choose your house I would consider 3 factors.

1. Are the current brothers and people you seen at rush events who you are happy to be friends with for your 4 years?

2. How likely will this house get suspended in the future. Is it going through anything right now? How crappy would it be for the house to be suspended as soon as you finish initiation? The rate frats are getting kicked is alarming. Some middle tier frats 2-3 years ago have ascended to top tier status due to this sole reason. So don't pay too much attention to tiers.

3. Does this house have good potential for growth. Remember when you become a brother now its your job to handle rush and social pairs. Intangible aspects such as location and house will always be the same. However the people inside it will always be changing.

UPPER MIDDLE TIER
4. Phi Who, AGR, TDX, Sig Pi

7. ZBT, Chi Phi, Sig Tau, APD

Top Tier:

Dchi, Sig chi, Pike has been there for the past few years and will stay.
After recent suspensions of multiple top houses such as SAE, Beta SIg, DSig, and Sammy. I'll say Acacia and Sig Ep has moved up to 1.
It is your call which one is better based on fit. I'll say Acacia parties better but Sig Ep regardless pulls quality pairs to their socials unconditionally. Sig Pi used to be a top tier frat however the recent troubles they doubt with may signal a suspension in the near future if they don't clean up the act.

ATO has struggled this past year. Their old pairs (Acacia and Sig Ep) has started ditching them for tier 1 more. ATO will prob be forced to social more now with lambda Tke and Aepi. Tke and Aepi are likely to move to 2 very soon.

DU has made great improvements and will always be a factor with their house. Phi Psi is a great house with a good combination of brotherhood and quality parties.

Middle tier:
Phi who and AGR lead this tier. The difference between them is that Phi who throws down more and fills their house better however i'll give the edge to AGR in terms of social pairs and their house's potential. Sig Pi in my opinion has the best looking house in all of greek life. However I would be a little wary of their situation. They are in trouble and it needs to be fixed soon. Otherwise they will be gone and the university will make sure of it. They used to be top tier but have fallen due to lack of quality parties.

Fiji is a on campus however that doesn't mean the school is stricter with them. They social with 4 mostly however it is just not the most popular location for girls to come party thurs-sat. Kappa sig has close to 100 brothers and prob has the most diverse group of people. They have solid pairs and i'll say they are otherwise average. Skulls have made great internal improvements and will continue to improve due to their house and location. They just need the right kind of people in the house to truly utilize that potential.

After tier 5 I would recommend rushing if you have a friend in it or aren't a freshman. After tier 5 the stereotypical frat experiences dies down so choose\n\n\n\n\n
