on the chi phi suspension

In times like this, Greek life as a whole should be coming together, as this situation could have occured at/to any house. The Chi phi fraternity should not have to take the blame for this unfortunate occurrence. While this happened at an apartment that seems to be their unofficial senior house, it still is not truly related to the fraternity. This was NOT an underground social, this was just a few brothers having their own party. If this happened at the house of a bunch of non-greek students, there wouldnt be as much discussion of it. Greeks should consider this situation as a threat to all Greek life at penn state, because it shows that even with loose affiliation, penn state jumps at the opportunity to push the blame on Greek life. Penn state and many other universities have been slowly trying to kick Greek life out. Greeks have to come together to show that we support eachother, because we can't exist without other houses. This is a precedent that shows penn state is going out of their way to eliminate Greek life.
-this comes from the perspective of someone who rushed Chi phi, but ultimately I joined a different house for personal reasons-
Fighting for Chi Phi to stay is fighting for all Greek life to stay
