why are people calling certain frats geeds?

Clearly they are not geeds. Bottom tier or not. They still throw down, and they still get lines at the door. They are still frats. And a bottom tier here could be mid/top at most other schools.

1. You have letters and is a nationally recognized fraternity.
2. You have house parties that people go to
3. You have brotherhood/thon-related events
