how does it work w/ so many frats but not sororitys

How do socials work if there are so many more frats than sororitys?
My roommate is in a “lower” sorority and they are always invited to socials and always have so much fun. Plus didn’t know about “tiers” but her close friends from her sorority are all so pretty and just overall a lot of fun to hang out with.

The sororities all average about 140 members. Whereas, the fraternities really vary in size. A few have over 100 and some have as few as 10-15. So, where is the fun for a sorority with 140+ members having a social with a frat of 10 guys? There are only about 15 frats that have at least 70 or so members, still not great odds. But, those are the ones that social with sororities. The frats that have fewer brothers are the ones that typically social with clubs and orgs because their numbers are more on par. Everyone is having fun and the quality, with regards to the looks and sociability, of the women really isn't that different. It is more of a size of org issue than anything.

Our sorority has a system that requires at least 2/3 to attend. If you can't make it you find a "sub" from the remaining 1/3. Sometimes everyone is there but at a minimum we should be there with at least 100.
