Because everyone went in with an idea of the sorority they wanted, and they’re upset they didn’t get asked back.

It happens every year. Women sign up for rush thinking they are 100% going to get into "top tier". They don't see themselves as "connecting" with anyone below the top 4 chapters. Then, reality hits them when they get their invites back and lo and behold, the "top tier" chapters didn't agree that they walk on water! OMG. First time in their lives they faced rejection!! What to do???

Do they regroup and realize that other pnms are just as "hot" and smart and accomplished as they are and press on with the invites they have left? The women that do ultimately find real sisterhoods in Greek life.

Or do they fall into a pool of self pity and drop out?? Far too many do the former end up crying in their rooms (then later some go on to join loser clubs that TRY to be Greek). Worst tragic end to the recruitment story!

Have some self respect. Know that there are beautiful, accomplished women in every "tier" and press on knowing that life goes on despite disappointment. I can assure you that 100% you can be happy in chapters that fall in "top" "middle" and "bottom" tier. Don't judge a sisterhood by which guys you can sleep with. From a Senior-- Peace out!!
