For sororities is it easier to rush spring of fresh or soph year? And what sororities do informal rush in the fall?

Better to go through formal your freshman year. No one knows who will do informal until immediately before. It is based on who has too many seniors graduate, or doesn't make quota in the spring, etc. Unpredictable but more likely to be lower tier. Top tier chapters don't have issues with quota. Their issues are more with having too many people DA once they turn 21.
