I wouldn't say "replaced." Phi Mu has struggled for years st Penn State, so their nationals opted to inactivate chapter. This opens up spot, so TrSig, which, while never a "top" highly desirable house socially, they never had a history of hazing or other BS of sororitys that closed in recent years (ASA, AXO, Chi-O, Tri-Delt, etc). That's prob why PSU officials are open to them coming back to recolonize and start fresh. Maybe Phi Mu will try that after a few years too.
