am i really missing out?
by: MarkFreshman here. I haven't gone to any parties but always feel jealous and sad when I hear people outside having a good time going to and from parties (live in East). How much am I missing out on? Also, is it worth it to rush a fraternity? Thanks, any advice would be appreciated.

you sound a bit lost. Its perfectly normal at this point not to have gone to any parties because as a freshman guy you aren't going to get in unless you have a connection. You should look into clubs (yes, they socialize and have parties) and in the Spring go and check out the different frats. 1 warning, stop using the word tier. You know yourself so check out as many frats as you can and don't waste time if the brothers are jerky or not your type of friends. Good Luck

First, I don’t really have any connections to get into any parties. Lame I know but that’s just what it is. Secondly, for rush, I don’t really know anyone so should I join a bottom tier if I can’t get a bid from the mid or upper tiers?
