is tri sig a npc?
by: ????I had never heard of Tri Sig before coming to Elon. Are they a member of NPC or are they a local that is just here at Elon? I've talked to people at other schools and they have never heard of Tri Sig? Why would anyone join a small local if that is in fact what they are?

UVA is a legit school. It's up there with Michigan, UCLA, then UVA and UNC. Their Greek scene is fierce in both a good and bad way.

Yeah I'm from Virginia so I know a decent amount about greek life at the schools there. Sigma's top at pretty much all the schools there, idk about schools in other states tho

I'm not sure if the people that call them 'sigma' realize that the name is tri sigma. Other schools call the chapter tri sig. Not sure why its just sigma here. Makes zero sense. Also, this tri sig or tri sigma or sigma or whatever you want to call it is not really relevant from a national standpoint at all. So not sure why anyone cares about them at all. Truly a mediocre operation AT BEST. Not sure why anyone would want to be affiliated with mediocre. Honestly what is their philo, what do they contribute to campus. Do they add any value to our school? I think not...

To junk: I am not sure which part of the message you didn't understand. I also don't get your definition of 'top tier' greek organization. Are you talking nationally or locally? I am in a 'top tier' group here at Elon and when we talk 'top tier' we are talking BOTH locally and nationally...e.g. Zeta or Phi Mu. I really don't think you can make a strong argument that Sigma/Tri Sig is top 5 nationally. If you can make that argument I'd love to see how! Best.

Zeta is not really top tier and Phi Mu just got back to being top tier. Do you have any idea how much better and more elite the sororities are at real universities? You act like being in KD is some great accomplishment, because of their national reputation (sorry, KD).

@lameness...not sure what your message is saying AT ALL. What is your point? Is it that we have NO national top 5 npc organizations here at Elon? You say neither Zeta nor Phi Mu are top 5 nationally? Then who is your book is? Surely not KD? I'm confused.

I think they're on the smaller side nationally, but so are all of our other chapters.... They're top tier here, end of story. Plus I heard they're top at UVA, that's pretty legit
