Alpha Phi at DePauw is a sorority that helps to foster future leaders, both on campus as well as off campus!

On this website, you can pay $5 to have a comment deleted. I think its so interesting that all the new, nice comments about pi phi are deleted. Every sisterhood is special and unique in their own way, and each house should lift each other up instead of drastically trying to tear other houses down to "get ahead". There is no such thing as "getting ahead", and it does not matter at all what the so called "rank of the house" is. Go where you feel comfortable, loved, and capable of growth. I found that fit for me within pi phi, but every house on this campus is so special in its own way.

They emphasized getting good grades to go along with brotherhood benefits. They were also active in intramural-sports and student government activities.

Be careful if you make it to the third round of recruitment. At the end, they walk you out all the way to the street (so you aren’t on Theta property), then lean in your ear and say “i really hope i see you here tonight”. I remember how special i thought I was, but then I realized that every single girl I was friends with had the exact same experience. They don’t care if they see you there tonight, they disgenually take girls that would be a better fit for other houses and make them feel as though theta is the “perfect fit”. Just wait, you’ll learn through the years.

This house has been dirty rushing for years and will continue to do so. I had several of them look me in the face, convince me I was exactly what they wanted and PROMISE me a bid. So I suicided Pi Phi. No bid. Terrible girls.

alpha kappa alpha doesn't really socialize with other greek houses. very service orientated. cool girls.

delta gamma is a diverse and forward-thinking house but also has girls who are rude and mean. do not go out much and only friends with each other.

kappa alpha theta is a good house when it isn't on probation. hot and classy with long depauw legacy

kappa kappa gamma brings the party. fun girls who are down for a good time. very giving with their house ice cream machine and food

alpha phi takes themselves seriously and have a lot of athletes. cliquey with some groups associating with certain frats and not others. closed circle and involved
