This year recruitment was absolutely brutal. Legacies were getting cut like crazy and girls were dropping like flies. ADPI and Tri Delta were very rude and obviously already had their pledge class picked out. ADPI only took "in house legacies" because there were just so many legacies going through this year. Unless you had a perfect GPA you could maybe get into ADPI if you were already on their radar before recruitment. That turned off many girls. Phi Mu, Chi O, DZ, KD and AOPI had a great rush! They felt very welcoming and down to earth instead of the "to good for you" feeling you got in ADPI and Tri Delta. DZ really surprised people this year by getting a great pledge class along with KD!

I didn't feel like Tri Drlt or ADPi were rude, but probably because I already had my sites set on some other houses. I guess being a Tennessean helped me in this aspect. I came in really liking KD Phi Mu and AOPi, and all were great. I ended up in one of my top three, and I had a good experience. My Gamma Chi was great and really explained that greek life is great and you will meet friends and have fun regardless of where you pledge and not to close your mind to all sororities based on pre-conceived notions.

You said it all, being a Tennessean helped. I am from TN also, but I heard multiple complaints from out of state girls about the rudeness they experienced by some houses. Kudos to KD and DZ for making all girls feel welcome from what I heard from PNMS. They both snapped up some amazing out of state girls that were overlooked by some other houses, consequently giving them some awesome pledge classes. With that being said, an out of state girl on my hall was very upset by the way she was treated at some houses, especially ADPI. It is almost comical when some houses get on here and say they got the best pledge classes. How can you honestly say that, when you know nothing, nor tried to get to know any out of state girls? I have met some of the most wonderful out of state girls!!! Two I know are pledging DZ, one KD, and two KKG, and let me tell you, those houses were smart to take them.

KD and PHI MU definitely got the best pledge classes this year. They got the girls that multiple chapters were fighting for. DZ however, not so much. idk why people think DZ got a good pledge class bc they DIDNT

I am a PNM from TN. Let's just say I got in what is considered a top house, not KD or Phi Mu by the way. I knew many girls in all chapters prior to coming to UT, and let's just say KD and PhiMu WERE NOT on my radar. I think there are some sour grapes with some of the houses. From my understanding, KD especially is known to bash. They are trying hard to say they are the top chapter, but in reality, they are what some of my sisters call "wannabees." I know some of those girls from high school and not who I wanted to call my sisters. I know a LOT of girls on my hall and dorm who CHOSE DZ. From what I see, they did get an AMAZING pledge class. They did get a lot of really GREAT out of state girls that many chapters overlooked. KD and PhiMu got great pledge classes, but not diverse at all, especially KD...same area girls like always. The above, slanderous comment was obviously posted by a KD or PhiMu. I think my "top" house got the best pledges, but I refuse to cut down DZ because I can give credit where credit is due, and from the girls in my dorm who went DZ; they do have a GREAT pledge class.

Why does KD try to insist they are the best? We lost no pledges to you girls. You said you and PhiMu got the best pledge classes? You can't be serious! Um, no.

to ZTA, DG, KKG, and AXO for being real, getting good PC's of cute and nice girls, and not being all over this site talking about themselves and bringing others down.

LOL...who's to say they aren't the ones saying stuff? DG and ZTA have a reputation of being some of the biggest bashers on campus, but nice try.

So you are cutting them down...that means you are a DG, KKG, PiPhi, EK, ZTA or ACHIO because you wouldn't have posted the above if you were in one of the houses you posted. So I guess you are trying to make these houses look bad!!! There is no way you can say any of these houses wrote anything...GROW UP!!!

real...PiPhi gets on and self ranks like no other...so does KKG and ZTA.
