Is trying to move away from their mom-vibes, but you ever see someone at a party that looks like they stand out like a sore thumb? The meghan trainor of sororities- all about that base, and not in a good way. stick to your disney sing alongs and pumpkin spice lattes girls.

Honestly don’t deserve the bad rep they get. Past pledge class was decent and pretty diverse. Contains most of the dance team, as well as several pre-health majors. Full of friendly and social girls, hope to see them do better.

Alpha Phi is hated on sometimes because they are top house, but it is for good reason. Girls are jealous of them because they are the most well-rounded and some guys even find them intimating. They are always found in the library, parties, events, and also work on campus and usually involved in other things. You will always catch an Alpha Phi involved in other associations, clubs, and they hold the most diversity in my opinion. I think they rightfully are top house and the other sororities get bitter about it, but i think they deserve the title. They're classy, fun, genuine, and pretty. Finally, they seem to actually enjoy being in a sorority and sisterhood is strong from an outsider's POV.

They used to be top house but are definitely going downhill fast. They were surpassed by alpha phi this year and may even get passed by theta in the future. They seem to recruit based on whoever will make their house look best. They're not very friendly to anyone they're not trying to recruit. They're very clique-ish and they have a lot of internal fighting. Their new pledge class was mediocre and their older members seem really upset about losing their place as top house.

Alpha Phi receives a ton of hate from the other sororities, more than likely due to jealousy. I have never encountered an Alpha Phi that was rude to me, although I have noticed they are significantly nicer to prettier girls. They are top house on campus, but seem to have a lot more going for them than just being the center of attention and partying.

Great Sorority!

Alpha Phi is the same as any other Alpha Phi house, that's the great thing about APhi- consistency. Alone, each girl is nice, together, they get cliquey real quick. Some girls keep lists of guys they've slept with, the list is longer than the Declaration of Independence. They are territorial over fraternities they hang out with, and compete like they're gonna die. They show up to events, great, but reuse banners and posters (Theta Chi event and their bid day poster) and half ass a lot of their efforts. They like to go out and have fun, but don't really know the meaning of academics. I've had the pleasure of talking to seniors that graduated class of '18 and they hated the lack of sisterhood. They aren't cohesive in their desires, it seems. So - if you like being popular and partying and sorta having a sisterhood this is great for you. If you value your time at UoP and your academics, this is not the house for you. Overall APhi is a 3/5.

They are nice girls, they gave bids to a couple of girls that go out but it doesn’t really help their image. They are kind of disregarded as a whole and are on the verge of losing their house. They are a large part of the reason why the rest of Greek life is suffering to flourish because of their declining numbers.
