Their last 2 pledge classes have been disputably better. Sig chi’s last pledge classes haven’t been on par with who they usually recruit. Not saying they are bad, but they aren’t recruiting the same guys they used to that actually knew how to keep sorority relations with ADPi or KD.

So how are they recruiting better and why are sorority relations better? Why do people want to join them? You don’t just wake up and recruit better, what is the catalyst?

I get where you’re coming from, a lot of how phi delt and pike are getting better is the house and name recognition. People here pike in high school and get tunnel vision on that. Whether they know the situation or not about the phi delt house is irrelevant because it’s still a good recruiting tactic. Really it’s just been the luck of recruiting, phi delt and pike have had larger classes than sig chi these past few pledge classes. I think sig chi only initiated 12 or so in their last one and a chunk of them didnt look like the guys they usually recruit or were heavy mullet guys. Not saying Sig Chi is bad, but they havent gotten better.

The house alone and name alone don’t mean much without quality brothers who can sell it. You can go through the greekrank archives and read all 335 pages. At one point Pike and Phi Delt were bottom tier so how did they get the quality recruits to sell it? At some point they had to do something to gain relations and make people want to join.

Sig Ep used to be top, so did Fiji if you go through those same 335 pages. Greek changes, factors that you and I could or couldn’t explain cause that. Respect to you for supporting your guys in sig chi, but it’s not the same fraternity as it was 3-2 years ago. Their still top tier material though so we could have this argument all week if we wanted to.

Phi Delt is in fact losing their house. They don’t want to break the news yet because they don’t want PNMs to know

Yea agreed very long argument, leading you to say that they were at one point more involved and took time to put more effort in Greek community events, something neither do anymore. A top fraternity should have great social presence all around not just the fun things like parties and bars, but IM’s and philanthropies as well. That’s why I just can’t see them as top. Fiji was never top but self ranked a lot, you can see by the dislikes and negative comments on each post, they were the AEPi of that time. Sig Ep and SAE did have a top era but it was because they were constant competitors for IM’s, Philanthropies, as well as Best Parties. SAE was kicked off, Sig Ep had a membership review that led to Verdandi, Sig Chi took over but also had a membership review which caused them to have to share top with D Chi, a newly reformed Phi Delt climbed the ranks with Pike from bottom through middle past Sig Nu, K Sig, and Sig Ep. D Chi is kicked off and Sig Chi starts to fall, leading to the Pike/Phi Delt/Sig Chi top tie and Sig Nu pushing the edges of that.

I can’t see how Sigma Chi and SNU are much different than both Kappa Sig and Sig Ep. Sigma chi has been dropping significantly and neither them or SNU can throw a party to save their life

Are we saying sig chi and pike throws good parties??? They both have retreat apartments and can’t party past twelve. Stop being bias and state facts.
Therefore sig chi relies on darties and from the looks of it, that was also not successful.
