it’s not as impossible at all! You just need to become close with girls in sororities so that they can recommend you. If the sorority you’re going for informal has a lot of sisters that like and know you, you have a good chance. That being said, informal is pretty unpredictable for who is doing it - you won’t find out till maybe the first or second week of fall classes. And it can range from sisters posting information/events on their social media to a sorority just quietly taking one or two girls. If you want to be in a sorority, you should definitely try for informal recruitment in the fall. If that doesn’t work, consider formal again. Know that that’s a rough route tho, I ended up in one of the top 6 with minimal contacts, but my friend doing it with me ended up with the same bottom two as last year and dropped again
