coaches?

I think some girls do get coaches. There was an article in the New York Times in 2012 titled "Pledge Prep, Prepping Students for Sorority Rush". UVA was highlighted. I think the girls who do have coaches don't talk ever about it. I hate to say it but your friends are also your competition. There are only so many spots in each sorority and everyone wants to get in a good one. It's a weird, stressful time. Not so much if you're content if you're above playing the status game. Good luck!

Sorry but if you need a coach you have a problem. If you can’t make good conversation on your own you have a problem. If you’re 18/19 you should be mature enough to navigate recruitment without paying someone to help you.

A good coach is between $2-3k but you get what you pay for. I know lots of girls at TriDelt and kappa who used coaches and it paid off for them.
