Okay the point of this post was to mention the positive things about each sorority... I'll add some more
DZ - largest house (I believe it fits like 30 sisters)
DG - best location (can be debated but definitely one of the best)
Pi Phi - most free spirited
Tri Sig - cleanest reputation (they're new)
AXO - most fun
KD - least judgmental

adpi—either very extroverted or very introverted
tridelt—bubbly/extroverted, quirky, party hard
aphi—hot, party hard, catty, stereotypically sororityty
theta—rich, hot, exclusive/catty (?), northern
sdt—diverse
sk—quirky, diverse, catty (?)
axo—diverse, attractive, “cool girl” vibe
dg—hot, catty, northern

Helpful: if you see posts like the first comment bashing Dz and Dg chances are the comment isn't accurate/was made by someone not in Greek life/is clearly bitter. It says more about the character of those doing the bashing than those being bashed. I know girls in both sororities and they seem to love their pc/are sweet and fun! As a first year don't let individual comments get to you-all of the sororities have a lot to offer!

If you're doing informal, it's too late to be worried about tiers. At this point if you want to be greek you'd better have the most open mind in the universe.

Who does informal could surprise you. Some bottom tiers might not, some solid middle tiers might do it. It changes every year, just wait and see

Zeta is mid tier and will be doing informal.
DZ and DG won't be.
Pi ph and Alpha Phi might add a few new members but not full informal rush.
Of course nothing new at Theta and Kappa.

One thing people don't realize is that even sororities that recruit in the fall will not have it open to everyone. Talk to friends you have in the sororities (even acquaintances or anyone you know remotely) and ask them nicely if they would be willing to invite you to events.

is this true? will they most likely invite u if u ask?? And how do u stand out when a house is only looking for like 4 new members?

I toured the house too and I agree it's nice on the inside! However I heard they pick rooms based on GPA...so it's a bit competitive to actually live in the house
