I was a Chi O at the UVA Chapter about 30 years ago. I was looking at this because my daughter will begin rushing soon. It's funny to see that it's still known as a very "Christian" sorority. Even when I pledged, I had several girls in my PC who were NOT Christian, myself included. I had a few sisters who were religious, but not really. It's funny that that reputation is still there though, because it doesn't feel aligned to reality. My friendships with my sisters has remained strong throughout the years. I feel like these are women who inspire me and make me want to be better and do better when I see them. They really do bring out the best in each other. I don't care much for tiers/rankings and I am not going to say I know where things stand now, but I legit felt like I had a home at Chi O when I was a sister, and I still really cherish the friendships I have with the women there - they were all badass go-getters, and I think some of that still remains today from what I have seen.
