With a lot of the frats being in hot water Beta has come through as one of the best frats at Umaine. Their music and sound system is spectacular, the brothers have a great reputation as good people on campus, and their party’s always draw a huge crowd.

Alpha Sigma Phi is currently an up-and-coming Fraternity at UMaine. It used to be a bottom-tier Frat at UMO but has recently climbed up the totem pole to an above-average Fraternity on campus. The parties have an excellent turnout and are always packed whenever they throw a party. The brothers in the Frat are a mixture of different kinds of people, from athletic jocky brothers to geeky ones, with some right in the middle. Their house is one of the nicer houses on Frat Row and seems to be kept in good shape through and through. Alpha Sig has made great strides in the past year with improving their chapter in all areas and it has shown so far in this new school year.

Bad rep on campus. Fraternities make fun of them. Really weird and unwelcoming. They also self rank. Fyi if you’re gonna rank another sorority, don’t do it with the same usernames and at the same exact time you rank yours. Just embarrassing.

These sister actually care and are super friendly. Wasn’t sure at first what was for me and then I became close with a few and they welcomed me into there large friend group. There actually friends unlike some other groups it seems

They are so rude and only care about looks and frat boys. No ones really friends and if you’re not rich they are very judgy. They seem top tier until you actually pledge.

Great sorority they are actually friends and welcome you in. Met so many people I love here and everyone is super close. I really recommend it if you want a close knit sisterhood.

The girls are all pretty weird and not super friendly. They force a lot on to you and overall aren’t very welcoming unless you are the top 4 girls there. Don’t rush here.

Their music choices are significantly better than others, the brothers have a great reputation as good people on campus, their philanthropy always blows others out of the water, and their parties always draw a huge crowd.
