i bet a lot of pnms are looking at this site out of curiosity so just some things to keep in mind:
-recruitment is a pretty draining process (a lot of waiting, talking, and it's frickin cold out). this is corny but having a positive mindset will make the experience a lot better.
-i wish someone had told me to not act like i was being formally interviewed when i was rushing. i wouldve been 100% less nervous. youre trying to make friends not land a job.
-this is most important thing bc if you didn't care about rankings you wouldn't be on this site: literally no one cares about what your sorority is ranked. hell no one even cares if youre in a sorority or not. it's just an organization you join to meet people.

- BUNDLE UP....if the past few years are any indication, snow is always on the ground and short skirts and open toed booties are cute but they're guaranteed to make you freeze more than you usually would
- rest your voice....actives get told this too; all the talking takes a toll on your voice and despite how much you want to chat with your hallmates about what houses you liked after every round, taking a break will help you LOTS at the end of the day
- speaking of resting.....go to bed ASAP when you get back to your dorms/apt, you'll be grateful for every extra second of sleep when it's 7:45 at night and you're still at oak lane in the evenings
- get your own food, and get lots of it. period.
- relax!!!! you'll have so much more fun if you're not uptight and stressed the whole time; actives want to get to know you, give them that opportunity!!!!!
- don't try to order dp dough in the evening it WILL take 63829827474 years to get delivered (speaking from experience here)

disregard everything on this site; many girls have told me that they went into recruitment aiming to go for a certain house or for a certain "ranking" of houses and ended up either dropping, getting that house they wanted and being unhappy, or finding themselves in a house ranked "lower" than they wanted and ultimately having the time of their lives there. everything goes 10x better if you don't take any rankings as fact and evaluate all your options from an unbiased point of view. good luck to all pnms!!!!!
