closed rush

So I'm in this class that requires us to travel to conferences so I'm going to a Model NATO conference this week. We get back Sunday night and closed rush is on Sunday which means I'll miss closed rush. Will that affect me in terms of getting a bid? I emailed the recruitment chairs of this last week.
