formal rush as a senior?
by: chuncposting this here so i can get some very unfiltered opinions. i’m gonna be a senior next semester, tried to do cob but wasn’t able to go to some events bc of a family emergency and got shut out from other sororities bc i don’t know any girls in the chapter. No bs, do i have a shot at formal rush next year? that’s it ✌️

i guess my question would be why now? you need to realize that most houses will give preference to underclassmen because they will be in the house 3-4 years during which time they will be paying dues, participating on exec, etc. Even if you are given a bid somewhere, you need to know that pretty much everyone in your pc is going to be a freshman living in the dorms. many seniors aren’t as involved in their house due to job hunting, internships, travel, ect. you are going to have a hard time making friends with anyone your age. if you really feel like you missed out on the experience, one option might be initiating through an alum club once you graduate where you might at least meet women closer to your age with similar interest etc.

which house is being added. is phi mu going to try to come back? We could use kappa delta, sigma kappa, zeta, delta zeta, adpi, etc. but none of these would have a house!
