by: GphiWhy’d that TikTok girl drop Gphi?? She was getting me all hype for recruitment then announced she dropped and it’s making me think Gphi isn’t worth the time or something happened. Anyone know?

i don’t believe that someone would drop their house because they won’t have time to work out during work week. i would love to hear her side of the story.

It depends on the house. That’s why you see so much about retention rates here. Gphi AXO and Kappa have the worst retention so a lot of girls drop before junior year

The houses that do spring cob are the one’s that have the worst retention. The houses that did spring cob are Aphi, Chi O, AXO, Theta, Gphi, and DDD. The houses that did not cob are Pi Phi, DG and Kappa. These three have the best retention.

not anywhere near true, some houses have to take a spring class as per their nationals, and theta and chi o's retention is much higher than kkg's, so i don't think looking at cob is a good way to check retention.

I would say yes and no. Most house do extend at least a couple of bids, if not more, to replace graduating seniors. However, if a house is doing a full on recruitment with a bid day that’s probably a sign that a lot of girls from their fall pc dropped.

i don't think aphi, chi o, or axo did a formal one for spring. i think it was just a few spots that they gave to girls that knew people in the sorority

no, this year only theta gphi and tri delt did a formal cob process, and then aphi axo and chi o did an informal cob process (gave bids to girls they knew already). but it differs every year, ik chi o and theta didn't do cob last year but did this year, it really just depends.
