How popular each house will be

And this isn’t saying that they are. This is a rank of how popular each house will be. Popularity in a recruitment cycle doesn’t have to correlate with their actual rank

This says that chi o and theta will be equally popular not equally ranked smh

either way i don’t think theta will be "equally popular" to chi o during rush. pretty sure pnm’s will choose chi o over theta especially if they have any interest in mixing with frats.

personally i think that chi o is always above theta, but theta doesn’t get enough credit for how much girls like them during rush. it seems like pnms love their energy and how kind a lot of the girls recruiting them are.

I mean she did say all the girls she talked to weren’t really chasing based off social standing, so I think she meant sisterhood wise. Everyone knows chi o is above theta but I would say they are still pretty similar in terms of personality and values!

dg has the highest retention rate on the hill, the sisterhood is pretty tight they actually all like eachother and have the same vibe

dg does not have the highest retention rate, im pretty sure it's pi phi. lotsss of dgs drop in the spring of freshman year, forcing 100+ girls to practice for a dance competition for 8 hours a day unfortunately pushes girls to drop.

Dgs are definitely not all the same vibe. I know a girl from hs that’s in dg and she’s a totally different vibe from my friends in dg. Go to a dg event and you’ll see that there’s all types of girls. With pcs as large as they are all houses are going to have a variety of “vibes”. (In response to “buff”)

why did so many dg’s drop? was it because of the time commitment?

Spring class sizes have very little to do with overall retention. Some houses are required by nationals to do it more formally and some houses keep it on the DL. Either way retention is looking at who has the most girls make it all the way to senior year and those would be PiPhi, DG, Theta, and Chi O. Retention also depends on the pc so just because one class has cob doesn’t mean a different pc within the house could have the best retention of any house for that year.

this is true. if a house is at total (or close to total) they prob wouldn’t cob, but if they had a lot of girls from their fall pc drop and have open spots they would most likely cob.

dg did not have a ton of freshman drop in the spring, you clearly aren’t a dg. Also, just because the dg house is very involved in songfest doesn’t mean girls drop because of it, lol

im not a dg, but i can't tell you how many dgs ive met out that tell me how much they wish they were in a different house. and i know of at least four girls that dropped dg in the spring, and as someone that probably only knows 15 dgs total that's a crazy high number.

can i ask-why did they drop or why do they wish they didn’t go dg?

Pnms should ask about these dumb kinds of rumors during rush bc 9 times out of 10 is just made up bs from other houses

I mean aphi had that scandal with their old president 2 years ago but their new president slays. A bunch of axo exec dropped 2 years ago and two exec members from this board dropped (philanthropy and dei). Both in axo dropped for personal reasons but it’s also why we didn’t have a philanthropy event in the springs.

i think you might be getting dropped and stepped down from their positions mixed up, yes someone stepped down but i don’t think a sorority should be villainized for an exec member admitting when they’re in over their head and stepping down from their position while still remaining an active member. it happens in every sorority, and it’s okay for people to feel safe enough to admit when they took on a little too much!
