Too many out-of-staters

by: ionlikeyawl

Just going off observation, there's wayyyy too many out-of-staters in this PC class.

What is going on?

Used to be just a handful from CA/West Coast, but now they're here from east coast, midwest, FL, and TX. What's wrong with the colleges in your own states?

Schools in FL & TX are more competitive overall now. Legacies at UT-Austin, for example get wait-listed even if they're top of the class.

It’s economics. West coast schools are uber competitive (UC’s/Cal Poly/SDSU)so many kids opt for a less competitive “football school”.
