genuinely confused regarding ka

So, I am a new (trans-male) student at UCB and am super excited to rush some fraternities next spring. I hear a lot of things about some of the top houses which I am trying to shoot for like Zete Fiji SAE DKE but I am a bit confused about KA. Are they a sorority or fraternity? I have heard most people saying they are a top sorority and a few saying they are a lower tier frat similar to phi kappa tau. I just want to be able to even out my time spent rushing these frats so please let me know what I should do/ who to listen to in this situation.

Hey man, I was wondering the exact same thing and was afraid to consult the forums myself. I hope someone can answer this question but I do know they are LGBT friendly :) so it might be actually be a co-op
