For sure Gamma Phi, maybe Delta Sigma and maybe AXO. Most houses have met quota or are really, really close and therefore may only be recruiting friends of friends (it’s easier, less $$, less time and doesn’t publicize if a chapter hasn’t met quota). Your best bet is probably to wait until Fall, unless you’re a second semester junior transfer or something.

How did you find out aphi and zta are doing this? Is it worth it to reach out anyways if you don’t know anyone in the house? Why does it suck to be one of five new members?

Zta just posted on instagram. Being one of like 5-6 members in a super exclusive pledge class means you don’t get to bond with a huge pledge class like if you were to rush in fall. That’s why its usually friends of friends. Still worth reaching out though!

basically: You should reach out if interested but it helps to know a friend! Kind of sucks to be one of like five members joining in a semester. You’re better off waiting until fall unless you have connections in the house already.
