Why was Alix earle upset w getting Zta
by: Question?In her podcast alix mentioned she was dropped by the two top sororities (dphie and sdt) first round and was really upset the entire rush process because that meant she wouldnt be in the cool girl group. She said she ended up picking one of the houses she had left (which apparently was zeta). She said she felt like a loser and all her friends got to be in the cool girl sororities. I thought ZTA is a top house so I am confused why she was so upset and felt like she was stuck somewhere bad? Can someone explain

That’s not what she said. She said she wanted to be in the house that all her friends were in. So I think she chose a house where she felt like she vibe but it probably wasn’t the best fit. She also didn’t like going through Recruitment on the other side, cause she felt like it was a mean and brutal process. She’s not wrong. I cannot fault her for wanting to be in the house that all her friends were in, but I can’t fault her for not giving a house a chance that would allow her the opportunity to make new friends and brought in her social circle.

honestly her attitude fits perfectly with a lot of attitudes at Miami which is if I’m not in what I perceive to be a top house, I don’t want one at all. That’s why we’ve seen houses like zeta and adpi climb the ranks over the last few years because they were filled with cute nice girls who want a genuine sisterhood, not just a name. And I think that’s why houses like Deeph and esp SDT have fallen because they get the gilrs that care more about being perceived as cool than liking girls in their house. Alix even said she liked some girls in zeta but quit anyway likely because they weren’t top enough for her

Yes it wasnt a top house Zeta and she only wanted to be in the Top best sorority. Less about her friends...she got dropped and they didn't. Why she quit...she never wanted to be in zeta because of cool. The top houses have just as nice of girls as any house...more confident and cooler girls. Alix..
