My opinion on rush and new MCs

Giving my opinion as someone close to the rush process this year. Everyone did so well! The girls who dropped because rush didn’t go their way are missing out.
Dphie / Zeta: Both houses pulled in top girls this year. Both took many girls away that might’ve gone SDT in the past
Adpi / SDT: Adpi did so well, better than SDT imo.
Tridelt / DG / Pi Phi: all the houses did so well, but have to give it to DG, they will be moving up the ranks for sure
XO: Didn’t see as many ChiO girls in person this year but the couple I know who went ChiO are sweetheart.

This must be rumors because I had access to the recruitment data and our 4 top houses all had strong PNM interest. So did the middle tier houses.
The cuts were brutal and many girls were upset when they only had 3 houses after the first round

its true half the pnms we gave bids to in sdt were on the drop list but you didn’t hear that from me. tired of everyone saying we’re mid now it was out of our control.

Regardless of the order the top killed it. For me it’s deeph at #1 and then a little gap and then adpi/SDT tied at #2 with a slight edge to adpi and then like 1/2 step away is zta at number 2.5/3 and then a bigger gap and then deegee (4) and (5) tridelt in no particular order and tied at #6 chi omega and pi phi but i still would not say they’re bottom.
What makes me sad is that a lot of girls dropped because they didn’t get their top and that makes me really sad for them. And I think if any girls that have dropped Recruitment this week are reading this. I think you should seriously consider going through the COB process and hopefully you’ll have better luck there but Make sure you do it for the right reasons. If this week has showed us anything is how strong our community really is and what amazing women we have here at U Miami. Congrats to everyone. It’s a brutal process. Our community is really strong, and if women would just stay in the process and realize that every house has something to offer, it would get even stronger. I think the people who stuck with the process are in it for the right reasons. Again, congratulations to all and good luck with COB for the girls going through it soon.

I think most girls that wanted deeph or sdt only wanted them because they’re perceived top but were torn once they met girls in adpi and zeta who are actually nice. Some wised up and chose adpi or zeta and the rest will find out what they’re really in for
The girls who went SDT unfortunately rushed a few years after SDT was actually good and they’ll realize that soon
