You are not going to be able to mix with any frats without it being sketchy and most social schedules are already established, containing sorority mixers/ parties. no one wants to jeopardize their chapter for a party or two. You will be joining a group of girls that can only go to open parties

u’d be missing out on so many things that make being in a sorority fun like hanging out in the suite, philanthropy, greek week, formals, big little, recruitment, PR events etc. definitely worth rushing and giving it an open chance at least
