fraternities
by: TransferIm a transfer student coming in from a small school in Ga. What are considered to be the "Top Tier" fraternities? and will me being a transfer hurt my chances at getting a bid?

Referring to my last comment, this is how I'd rate:
Upper Top Tier
KA, Beta, Fiji, Sigma Nu, SAE
Lower Top Tier
Theta Chi, Sigma Chi, Lambda Chi, Sig Ep, Sigma Pi(More of an upper mid tier but I needed a #10)
Upper Middle Tier
Farmhouse, Pike, ATO, Phi Delt, Pi Kapp
Lower Middle Tier
Phi Tau, AGR, Delta Sig, Phi Kappa Psi, Da Tee Da
Bottom Tier
Everyone else

This is purely based off of the 2012 freshman pledge classes:
ΚΑ, ΣΑΕ, ΣΧ, ΒΘΠ, ΣΝ, ΦΓΔ
ΑΤΟ, ΘΧ, ΛΧΑ, ΣΦΕ
You can argue this all you want but it's the truth, this is coming from two girls in top sororities that are freshman the top four are all you ever hear the freshman girls talk about.

Updated, and in my opinion list of tiers (fraternities in each tier are in no order)
Best: Sigma Nu, Theta Chi, Beta, KA, FIJI
Upper Tier: SAE, LXA, Sigma Pi, ATO, FH
Middle Tier: Phi Delt, Pike, Phi Tau, Sig Ep, Pi Kapp

Good list. Yeah I don't know why someone brought back this post from over a year ago. Probably trying to bring back old ranking when their fraternity was ranked better. Still, your list is accurate.

That's a pretty solid ranking. I'd either drop down SX or move up ΘX simply because Sigma Chi had one of their worst pledge classes yet and Theta Chi had their best. Also, WTF is up with FH? They're rolling kinda deep in AGD, ADPi, and Chi O which are all top 5 sororities. I hate FH as much as everyone else and I literally don't understand this.
I've also gotten this from some girls I'm friends with in AGD, KD, and ADPi
