why does it always have to be a competition/comparison between DG and Kappa. They're both top houses but they have completely different vibes. The "stuck up" comment by the reviewer below me is simply unnecessary. they are both amazing houses and many of the DGs and Kappas are friends

great sorority for a specific type of girl. the sweetest ladies you'll ever meet. They score lower when you're focusing on looks, popularity, and social life mainly because they generally characterized as sweethearts who dedicate their time to church and service, as opposed to parties

I believe this is a one hundred percent accurate review of kappa. to the person below me who said kappas are simply hot and girls join to gain the "hot" label- It's sad that you could give kappa that stereotype when down to earth, wholesome, and unwaveringly positive girls like Jessie Ruzich and Michelle Kreel are in that sisterhood. If you knew anything about them you'd know they, like many of their other sisters, are some of the least superficial women you will meet at Pepperdine.

Really nice girls, but boring. Generally cute. Pretty involved on campus. Well liked, but not very social. Very religious.

Kappa is the "hot" sorority, and it's the only reason why it's a "popular" sorority. Hot = Popular, I don't know why it's listed as two different criteria on this site. Girls join Kappa because they want the hot label - I mean, who doesn't want to be associated with the pretty girls? But there is little loyalty and deep sisterhood here. It just feels like a shell to me...pretty on the outside, empty as hell on the inside.

I don't know too many of the Thetas very well, but I know them by reputation and observation. I see a lot of them at parties, frequently wasted. They're pretty and social. Seem nice and they're pleasant enough to outsiders. Seem really chill and easygoing. Don't strike me as serious about academics. The fraternitieis like to socialize with them, but I don't think they respect them very much. Almost seems like a sorority of casual friendships more than a close sisterhood, but I could be wrong.

Love the DGs! A lot of fun, and not as stuck up as the Kappas (sorry). Smart girls, generally social (but have a few that are quieter and stay to themselves, not that there's anything wrong with that). Get along with the other sororities. Have a great sisterhood. The fraternities like them, though maybe they think they're a little intense.

I like these girls. Interesting mix, seems like there are some cliques, but overall they gel. Maybe a bit too rigid. Some are kinda weird, but generally they're all nice. Maybe not as high tier as when I rushed.

This chapter is solid and getting better, but they do seem to try a little too hard. They should focus more on their own chapter instead of just trying to "beat" the other chapters. The greek system is not a race to the finish. They have gotten cuter girls in the last couple of years, though.
