Overall easily the best sorority on campus. Smart, involved, diverse, friendly, loving, and wonderful girls

Fun guys to be around and are well respected. They are super involved on campus and are involved with a great charity organization.

Some really lovely girls in this house despite the overall lack of unity. Generally, the house tends towards catty, shallow behavior. I hope it changes.

Hard to pick out on campus — they keep mostly to themselves. Probably have a great sisterhood but it’s hard to tell. They’re known for studying hard.

Love these boys! So open and hard working and fun to be with. They don’t deserve the flack they often receive.

Beautiful sorority and sisterhood. So kind, open, and generous. They love to work hard and play hard

Pi Phi and Chi O celebrate when Kappas don’t come to all Greek events. Pretty impressive that Kappa manages to ostracize both of the other houses. A few nice girls but they are rare.

The pi phis are very sweet girls, and it is hard to say anything unkind about them. They are known for flying pretty far under the radar, but that also means that nothing bad ever happens over there— which is a good thing if you are looking for a low key sorority. Their friendships are genuine, and the sisterhood has little drama. As a former Panhellenic rep, Pi Phi caused the least amount of problems and girls were overall very pleased.

Chi omegas are known as being the most well rounded on campus. They draw in girls from all sides of campus, and are by far the most involved in leadership and community service both as a house and on the Hillsdale campus. They have a bit of a reputation for being the “partiers,” but by Hillsdale standards, that just means they do something on the weekends other than Bible study. Chi Os have big personalities, and are well known for winning IM sports, Greek week, and derby days. Not to say that there aren’t cliques and drama (any group of girls has it), but Chi O solves their problems quickly and genuinely. Their friendships are deep and genuine. As a former Panhellenic representative, girls are the most enthusiastic to join Chi O.

Overall, you are better off being independent than joining Kappa. That isnt to say that there arent a few really wonderful and nice girls who (somehow) manage to survive the drama, but overall the sorority is mainly focused on appearances. The house has the most drama of any house on campus. Every year there is in-house fighting over leadership elections, and every year it turns nasty. Kappas are also well known for recruiting the “pretty girls” really hard, but then never speaking to them again if they don’t choose Kappa. Least involved on campus, least focused on community service. Overall, the friendships are tenuous, and all for show on instagram. As a past Panhellenic representative, there was no other house that had more issue or more regrets when girls went kappa. Chose wisely.
