Chi Os are known for being party animals and alpha personalities, but more importantly these girls are genuine and kind. They don't pretend to be better, prettier, or richer than anyone else, and they're accepting of everyone, regardless of whether you party or not.

Kappa has been at the top for a long time, and this will likely continue. They truly get the pick of the campus every year. Bitter people love to hate on Kappa, but what they say isn’t true. Kappa has a great group of classy, smart, and involved girls. Truly the best.

They're desperate for attention this year. Some pi phis are nice but some are just rude. A weird, random mix of girls.

Kappa is a mixed bag for me. Some of the girls are very smart and sweet, but others can be ingenuine. I’ve heard that they have very strict rules about social media posting and crafting a campus appearance. I think some girls find a good sisterhood there but others feel stifled due to all the rules and the emphasis on appearance. I see less of them at parties than I used to, so hopefully they figure things out soon

Pi Phi has been working hard to reinvent themselves, and I think that the chapter is growing stronger this year as I've seen a lot more Pi Phis out and about on campus. Some of the girls are quiet but some of the girls are very involved in campus leadership. A lot of the upperclassman Pi Phis I know aren't typical "sorority-type&quo t; girls, and tend to be more independent, but they'll go out and go hard when they have a free weekend. I'm interested to see if they pick up a good group of girls this winter, since that'll determine which direction they develop. Hoping they pick up some girls who are more social.

Their recruitment strategies reveal a lot about them. When I was a freshman, they would comment on all my Instagram pictures telling me how I was perfect and beautiful and how they all want to be me. When I didn't join a house, the comments stopped and not a single one has reached out to me since. Talk about disingenuous! There are some really sweet girls in the house, but for the most part, joining Kappa just seems like an ego trip.
