I DO NOT want to become a Miami merger.
Although the campus is breathtaking and I (OF COURSE) only have positive things to say about Miami, I wish the student body as a whole would be a little more supportive of one another rather than constantly trying to slip a rug out from under your feet.

That makes no sense. The kid who doesn't give a crap about school doesn't give a crap about school because the educational system is just so f$cked up to begin with. And it's not the public schools that are the problem so much as the private ones. But don't even get me started on that...

It is not the duty of the school system or anyone else for that matter to spark an interest in education to students regardless of race or background. Frankly, it is impressed upon us from the beginning how important education is to overall success. If people choose to not care about it, that's their prerogative. But don't cop them out by blaming the system, if they don't care about school that's an individual problem.
