transferring into a sorority
by: Transfer?So I am a DZ at another college. Greek life here is fairly big but no where near to what it is at Miami. I'm thinking about transferring here and I want to know the opinions on DZ, fraternities and greek life in general. (Just some back ground, not trying to sound stuck up but DZ at my current school is a top house and is the most involved sorority on campus) No hate on DZ please, just honest opinions, I want to see if MU would be a good fit for me!

They are a top sorority here, maybe not number one or two but apart of the "top 6". Chill girls, party hard. Some are a little ratchet but that's not a bad thing, a lot of them don't have the stuck up attitude a lot of girls in other sororities do. Obviously there are exceptions, but they are relatively involved and cool girls

Middle tier I guess you would say, but middle tier here is top tier at other schools. They're probably #6 but they've got a good social life and have a good philanthropy. The only negative thing is their really prominent "easy DZ" reputation but it is what it is. A couple of the girls I hate most at Miami are in DZ and so is one of my favorite people ever ever ever who lived in my hall freshman year, and you'll get that with any sorority. They're an alpha chapter so that's pretty cool too!

This back and fourth about DZ being top tier or not, is really old and ridiculous. The reality is that they are consistently in the top six. Are they number 1? Probably not, but they are a top pick in rush and by fraternities. Yes, they are diverse and some would say random, but they are still a top house. Can we talk about something other than the same old thing over and over again please?

Why not look at their comments section? Are you serious? Because DZ has over 100 more posts than every other sorority on here, almost reaching 300 aka they self rank all day everyday. That's not accurate either. I guess if you really wanna know, get to campus and meet them
