Graduated this spring and APhi started pulling this stuff when they got to the top 3 and it got worse after the dg scandal that shook the rankings a bit. Most of pc ‘25 was set before rush even started. I honestly felt so bad for the girls who would’ve been a great fit, but got dropped bc they weren’t connected with current members. The unspoken standard of dropping girls that didn’t look like Barbie was also insane. A big chunk of the girls were only there for parties and popularity as well which weakened the sisterhood and made it kinda cliquey. The biggest plus was getting internships because a lot of the girls and their families were well-connected.

Does anyone really consider dg to be a top srat anymore though? After their scandal, most sororities and fraternities have avoided associating with them. They’ve literally been having trouble getting girls to rush them and fill their pc. Your point is still valid though. So many of the top srats think this is bama rush which can make greek life toxic at times.

While I agree for the most part, dg is not even top 5 after their little racism stunt and then getting caught buying ig followers.

Honestly half of the sororities here are like that. They dirty rush their friends and family and then get their hands on as many pretty rich girls as they can to fill their pc. Most of the fillers end up dropping because they end up getting ostracized since the friend groups are pre set.

As part of co 2025, I didn’t talk to a single dg in my 4 years there because they only really hung out with each other and sae. My sorority sisters and I mixed with other sororities all the time and most of them were great, but dg was the type to stand in the corner with their friends while everyone else intermingled. It’s no wonder dg and sae were canceled about a year apart.
