how much do seniors play in the process of bidding?

So I know a few diff seniors in a couple frats. They invite me out every now and then, but how much of a role do they have in bidding? Like can they put a good word in for me?

A lot of execs and rush people are usually sophomores. Sophomores will listen to seniors tho but u should ask to be introduced to a rush chair
